Trump’s Tweet Accused Her Of ‘A Con Job’, Says Stormy Daniels

Stormy Daniels, an adult film star, sued Donald Trump as she said that she was accused by the president of a con job. Daniels said that she was in a relationship with the president back in 2006 and an unknown person warned her to keep the relationship secret. She further said that the threat came after she was interviewed by a magazine about her affair with the president.

Earlier this month, Daniels worked with an artist to produce the sketch of the person who confronted her in the parking lot in Los Vegas. The sketch was published by Daniels during an interview to ABC News. According to the sketch, the man was lean and had a height of 5 feet 9 inches.

Stormy Daniels whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, said that the face of that person had buried in her mind. And she related this threatening to the interview she gave to a channel. At first, Clifford broadcasted the threatening in a program ’60 minutes’ of CBS. While giving an interview, Clifford said that she was going to a fitness class with her daughter, when a man came toward her car. The man said to leave the president alone and forget the story.

After saying these words, the man looked at her daughter and said, “That’s a really beautiful girl and it would be a shame if something happened to her mother.” After saying these words, the man disappeared.

The lawsuit was filed by Daniels on April 18 in Manhattan. The lawsuit was filed on the twitter post made by Trump in which he alleged Daniels of ‘Con Job’. In his tweet, Trump said that Daniels presented the sketch of a non-existent man. And this was a total con job by Stormy to make media foolish.

In her complaint, Daniels said that the president is using his audience to prove the allegations wrong. However, no comments were passed by the attorney of the president on this defamation story. While speaking to the media, Michael Avenatti, the lawyer of Daniels said that regardless of your position and status, you have no right to fabricate the statements passed by others and doing so only shows your intent to deceive people. And Mr. President has to face the consequences for that, said Avenatti.

Judge Jesse Furman was looking this lawsuit and he called Trump in the court later this week. Furman was appointed by Barack Obama back in 2012 and since then he was sitting on the federal bench.

Daniels had filed the lawsuit against the president the second time. The first lawsuit was filed when she sued both, the president and his attorney Michael Cohen for dissolving a confidential agreement in which she received $130,000 before the elections of 2016. The first lawsuit was put on hold by a judge as Michael Cohen, the long-term partner of Trump, was under federal investigation in case of payment he made to Daniels.

However, White House officials have denied the allegations of Daniels. While giving an interview back in March, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the press secretary, said that she had discussed these allegations to Mr. President, and according to the president all the allegations made by Daniels had no authenticity and were totally based on assumptions.

When asked about these allegations, Trump said that he had no clue about the payment made to Daniels, and said maybe you should ask Cohen about the payment. And according to Cohen, he paid the money from his funds and not from Trump’s funds but he didn’t deny that the payment was then repaid to him by the president. In a phone call to Fox and Friends, Trump acknowledged that Cohen represented him in Daniels payment case.

Daniels also had a polygraph test back in 2011, in which it was revealed that all the allegations made by Daniels on the president were true. Daniels had this test on the request of a magazine and in the same magazine, she published her affair with the president. According to Daniels, the agreement she signed back in 2016 was not valid as the agreement was not signed by the president. In response, Trump and Cohen’s lawyer said that the president was not the part of the agreement, so his signatures were not necessary.
